Elevators and Breezeways
The Coronavirus has very much influenced our day-to-day lifestyles throughout the community. All residents at Ocean Shore are encouraged to follow all federal, state, and municipal guidelines to control the spread of the Coronavirus. We at Ocean Shore are very much in close proximity to our neighbors - using common elements throughout the complex - especially breezeways, elevators and garage areas. Please follow the below guidelines, if at all possible, to protect our neighbors and our family members when entering and exiting buildings.
- When leaving your residence, take along your container or package of disinfecting wipes. Use one wipe to disinfect the exterior elevator controls on your respective floor, and once on the elevator, wipe the interior panel as you go down to the garage. BE CAREFUL NOT TO HIT THE EMERGENCY CALL BUTTON inside the elevator. Using the same wipe, wipe the door handle when entering the garage area. Once in the garage, dispose your used wipe in the trash can located in the garage.
- Upon return home, repeat the process with a fresh wipe beginning with the exit door handle on the garage door. Then, using the same wipe, disinfect the ground floor exterior elevator controls. Once in the elevator, use the wipe to disinfect the interior panel as you go up to your respective floor - AGAIN BE CAREFUL NOT TO HIT THE EMERGENCY CALL BUTTON. After wiping your front door hardware and upon entering your condo, dispose of the wipe in your household trash.
If all residents would practice sensible disinfecting of our entry and exit touch areas, together we can lower our risks of contracting the Coronavirus. To ensure effectiveness of your disinfecting efforts, please use enough of your wipe for treated surfaces to be VISIBLY WET FOR AT LEAST 10-60 SECONDS.
